Health information is classed as sensitive personal data and so needs to be controlled and managed.  Event organisers should have a clear statement explaining the purpose of the collection and how the data is processed and shared. Racesignup now includes a specific entry form item for collecting health information.

In Entry Settings >> Entry Form Settings there is a check box for “Include the health question”:

When that is ticked, the entry form has this:

The collected information is included in Data Exports >> Contact and ICE

Health information stored using this form item will be deleted between 5 and 7 days after an event.
