The “Badge text” is normally auto set by the system based on the status of the event. The system will set it to values such as “OPEN”, “CLOSED”, “LAST FEW PLACES” and normally you would just leave the system to do that. In some circumstances an organiser may want to override that text with something else and would use Badge Text Override to do that.
